Billy Fyfe hails from the ?Granite City? of Aberdeen in Scotland, he was born on the 14th of May 1976; he began his professional golf career at the Kings Links Golf Centre in Aberdeen, Scotland. It was here that Billy gained the experience he needed to help progress through his early professional career under the wing of Bruce Davidson. Billy also had the opportunity to observe the teaching methods of the Harmon family in the form of Mr. Dick Harmon and Butch Harmon?s son Claude Harmon III who attended the King Links Pro-am annually. After spending nearly 4 years at the Kings Links Billy moved onto Portugal at the Butch Harmon School of Golf as an Assistant Professional. This was Mr. Harmon?s second Golf School worldwide and was an opportunity not to be missed for Billy. He spent 2 years at that Golf School and gained tremendous experience working closely with Claude Harmon III (Teaching professional on the European tour). In 2000, Billy had the opportunity to spend 6 months at the main base of Butch Harmon in Las Vegas at the Rio Secco golf club. This golf school was the stable of many top players in the world of Golf, which included Jesper Parnivik, Adam Scott, David Duval, and of course The ?World Number 1? at the time Tiger Woods. Spending time around the world?s number one Golf Instructor and world number one player could only enhance his knowledge of the Golf swing. He spent a lot of time observing Mr. Harmon?s philosophy closely. At the end of 2000, Butch Harmon decided to open another Golf School in the Bahamas. This was to be the next stop for Billy in his career. Now familiar with the philosophy, teaching style and dedication that Mr. Harmon had for the game, Billy went on to put these invaluable experiences into practice on Grand Bahama Island where he continued to work for three years eventually taking over the management of the golf school operations in 2003.
